Work Duties:

1. Reports directly to the Draft Manager or Assistant Manager no later than 7:30 AM each business day

2. Technician will have an assigned territory, he or she will be responsible for and they will clean the draft lines in accordance with our distributor agreements and standards.

3. Technician will follow the directives for cleaning laid out in their draft handbook.

4. Technicians are employees of Central States Beverage and must abide by all rules and regulations governing them.

5. Technicians will work a minimum of 40 hours per week and may be asked to work overtime and holidays. All subject to managers discretion.

6. Technicians will be provided a company vehicle and must maintain it in an orderly fashion. Company vehicle is to be used for company related business, driven to work and home, used when draft tech is on call, and use of the company vehicle other than work related is prohibited.

7. Technicians will be provided all equipment, chemicals, and supplies to adequately perform their job.

8. Technicians will follow the directives of either the draft manager or his assistant and all management personnel of Central States Beverage.

9. Technicians must maintain a minimum of a Class B Drivers License.

10. Technicians will receive training from Central States and our suppliers and vendors as directed by management.

Work environment:  Office work will be necessary.  There will be occasions that lifting will occur with a maximum of 175 lbs., frequent driving and walking to retail and chain assigned accounts.  Frequency to work outdoor/weekend and after normal working- hours events will occur.

Objective:
To build brand awareness of Central States Beverage Company’s products through increased distribution and the development of retailer relationships within the on premise segment.

Work environment:
Office work will be required. There will be occasions that lifting of product and merchandising materials will become necessary to a maximum lift of 175 lbs. Frequent driving and walking to retail outlets will occur. Frequency in participating in outdoor events is limited, but will occur. ‘Frequency in night promotions on a weekly basis will also be involved.

Work duties:

1. Reports directly to the On Premise Sales Manager.
2. Carry all needed sales materials that are directed by company goals and objectives. (i.e., sales pricing information, point of sale)
3. Will inventory accounts, check pars if established by the account, merchandise all areas, and make contact with the key decision-maker to secure an order. The KAM will properly communicate all pre-sold orders on a daily basis.
4. Call on assigned retail accounts selected by the On Premise Sales Manager adhering to the call frequency guidelines that are set.
5. Maintain sales book of each retail account to include the following information; owner, key contacts if other than owner, phone number, present Central States Beverage Company distribution (effective), number of taps available, POS. dominance, table tent program, and monthly promotional calendar.
6. Conduct wait- staff and bartender training to increase product usage.
7. Table tents are required to be placed in each account visited on a daily basis. Certain accounts prohibit table tents and consideration will be made for these accounts.
8. Conduct product samplings as directed by the On Premise Manager.
9. Work with supplier reps or with the On Premise Manager as directed.
10. Submit all necessary reports as directed to the On Premise Sales Manager. The reports included, but not limited to, are; cash and credit card expense sheets, daily call sheets, tap knob survey, competitive activity, feature tracking, new placement tracking and all other reports directed by management.
11. To plan, sell, implement and be present for promotions designed to enhance product image and usage at retail.
12. Have knowledge of draft beer sales and maintenance. Also, to inform the On Premise Manager and the Draft Manager of installations needed, maintenance needed and/or Sales Dept. Job Descriptions Page No. 2 Last Revised: February, 2019 delivery problems. The KAM will maintain some tools for draft use as well as some draft supplies.
13. To increase present package and draft distribution in designated on premise retail outlets, supported by features and POS to bring awareness to our brands. To strengthen retailer relationships to provide positive growth of our brands.
14. Book permanent POS. in key outlets and strive to attain dominate position in each zone. All related paperwork for POS is to be submitted to the Merchandising Department fully completed following installation.
15. Perform any and all other duties assigned by management.

Job Description

The Merchandising Manager for Central States Beverage Company will manage the distribution, inventory and installation of point of sale for the marketing department.  Additionally, this position will serve as the assistant on special events within the company’s distribution area. This position will work in tandem with the Lead Merchandising Manager occasionally during day to day tasks as well as the during events.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate consistent attention to detail when installing pos for brand portfolio at retail, while ensuring that installations are done so with safety in mind.
• Responsible for assisting with the monthly inventory of all pos, dealer loaders & glassware inventory up to and including detailed tracking & organization of said items.
• Responsible for maintaining all required drivers’ licenses for company vehicles as well as fork lift certification to operate in house lifts.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized work environment for assigned marketing department work areas up to and including assigned company vehicles.
• Responsible for attending meetings and incremental training as directed by the Director of Marketing and provided by Central States Beverage Company.
• Responsible for the merchandising and working of events and functions as determined by the Lead Merchandising Manager as well as other duties assigned by management in addition to those listed.
• Responsible for receiving and securing all deliveries as well as distribution of said deliveries to the appropriate department head.
• Responsible for ensuring that all neon and lighted point of sale items are in good working order when received as well to retail and placed in a good working order.
• Responsible for the distribution of pos & dealer loaders to the sales department and other personnel daily. Tracking and maintaining records on all necessary items.
• Responsible for managing the return of usable pos as it is brought back from retail as well as securing non-dated items for use later upon program expiration.
• Responsible for creating sample displays of new pos available as needed.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a good working relationship with team members in sales dept, all CSBEV employees as well our customers.
• Responsible for the management of all CSBEV social media outlets and works with the director of marketing to ensure that company posts are on point with current objectives and brand directions. This portion of the job will not occur right away, this will be a trained skill and we will add it to your job requirements at the right time.

Qualifications and Experience

• Some experience in sales or merchandising prior- most skills will come from on-the-job training.
• Great communication skills and a flexible attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent decision-making and organizational skills

• Unusual/extensive hours: Special events tend to be long days, and almost always occur on weekends. Hours vary according to need, but the candidate must be available for some nights and weekends
• Physical: Ability to lift 35 lb. cases, dolly 165 lb. kegs and various point-of-sales boxes
• Must be comfortable with heights and working on extension ladders. Must be comfortable with power tools and willing to learn how to use them.

Route driving during the day to numerous on and off premise accounts.  Must keep company vehicle in good condition while maintaining a good and safe driving record.

Job Description

The POS Installer and Inventory Manager for Central States Beverage Company will manage the distribution, inventory and installation of point of sale for the marketing department.  Additionally, this position will serve as the assistant on special events within the company’s distribution area. • Responsible for attending meetings and incremental training as directed by the Director of Marketing and provided by Central States Beverage Company.
• Responsible for the merchandising and working of events and functions as determined by the Director of Marketing as well as other duties assigned by management in addition to those listed.
• Responsible for receiving and securing all deliveries as well as distribution of said deliveries to the appropriate department head.
• Responsible for ensuring that all neon and lighted point of sale items are in good working order when received as well to retail and placed in a good working order.

POS Installation

• Responsible for creating sample displays of new pos available as needed.

Supply Chain/Sales Administrator

Job Objective:

To assist the Director of Inventory Management to assure that all supplier products are made available for sale to retail to include, forecasting, ordering of product and monitoring the shipment of ordered products, maintaining proper inventory days of sale by brand and by package to meet the standards set by each supplier.  To assist the Sales Department in tracking of incentives, creating sales materials, and helping with aspects of product setup.

Work Environment:

This position will be done in an office environment.  There will be occasions with this position to check physical inventory in the warehouse, lifting case products of 24 lbs as needed to check code dates/expiration dates. There is a tremendous amount of computer work and must have the ability and skill to handle Excel and other supplier related programs.

Work Duties:

1. This position reports directly to the Director of Inventory Management
2. Is responsible for being the backup to the Director of Inventory Management and to know how to handle his/her day to day duties.
3. Is responsible for assisting in the handling of the forecasting, ordering and tracking of product from assigned suppliers. These suppliers will be assigned by the Director of Inventory Management.
4. Is responsible for assisting in the daily downloading of Purchase order files into EoStar.
5. Is responsible for assisting with the entering of all purchase orders for any supplier order that cannot be downloaded.
6. Is responsible for assisting in providing inventory and sales status/depletion reports for each supplier on a weekly and or monthly basis depending on the standards set by our suppliers.
7. Is responsible for assisting in providing all information by registered suppliers to the VIP network.
8. Is responsible for completing the monthly VIP audit.
9. Is responsible in assisting in the transferring of products of our suppliers from different states as needed to maintain product availability.
10. Is responsible for assisting in the handling of sub-distributors orders and billings as they come available.
11. Is responsible for assisting in the handling of the invoicing of suppliers for beer samples, donations and incentives.
12. Is responsible for assisting in providing and updating the daily “Out of Stock Report”, “Product Updates Report,” and “Cut Report” to the General Manager and the Sales Department.
13. Is responsible for providing all daily reporting to VIP and Red Bull.
14. Is responsible for completing sales and inventory reports requested by management, CSBC sales representatives and suppliers.
15. Is responsible for being the backup for all hot shot tickets.
16. Is responsible for working with the Operations Department regarding any shipment discrepancies, product changes, product transfers, distributor orders and any other questions or concerns with the product that is in our warehouse.
17. Is responsible for updating the Frontline pricing (MO & KS) with new & current product information.
18. Is responsible to participate in all Monthly Business Objectives monthly meetings with the Sales Department to assure of proper product ordering and any new product introductions.
19. Is responsible for entering MVG’s each month.
20. Is responsible for tracking and sending out MVG’s and MBO’s to the sales team weekly and wrapping up at month end. This includes the tracking of display photos, etc.
21. Is responsible for creating new product sheets that include product description, product number and UPC numbers.
22. Is responsible for checking state registration websites for product registration approvals.
23. Is responsible for creating new brand family/brands, entering ABV, State approval codes, UPC codes and SRS item numbers in Eostar.
24. Is repsponsible for setting up retail samplings to include communication with both suppliers and CSBC sales representatives through Outlook calendar invites.
25. Is responsible for ordering all business cards.
26. Is responsible for keeping the employee shirt size document up to date.
27. Is responsible to maintain a professional demeanor in working with all of our beverage suppliers.
